Lily's Cottage

At Lily's Cottage, with our green valley as a backdrop, we offer you a home from home experience in a unique charming setting. We have an abundance of bird life plus the odd mischievous vervet monkeys trooping through our garden.

With access to the garden and swimming pool area, portable braai (BBQ) facilities, the private secure Cottage balcony, as well as the private Loft patio; all contribute to making this the perfect escape from the crowds at the end of a busy day exploring Durban's attractions and for the business traveler seeking a tranquil retreat. 

We offer safe and secure parking behind remote controlled gates, DSTV, Fibre WiFi, Aircons in bedrooms.

Units are deep-cleaned before arrival, basic ceaning service from Mondays to Fridays only, no dishwashing.

Coffee & Tea supplies and basic Toiletries. 

Laundry can be arranged for long term guests.

Our guests’ comfort is our top priority, and you are assured of excellent service at all times.

We have 2 units, set well apart, minimal/no interaction with other guests.

2 bedroom Lily's Cottage is a stand-alone home from home cottage overlooking the pool. 

Studio apartment Lily's Loft is in a wing attached to the main building, private and separate entrance.

Lily's Cottage is the place to come to recharge - truly a safe haven away from the maddening crowds!  



Our neighbourhood

Queensburgh is a quiet leafy suburb of Durban. Our local shopping centre is only 2km from Lily's Cottage. 

Many of Durban’s famous attractions are a mere 20 minutes away: Durban’s golden beaches, Ushaka Marine World, Moses Mabhida Stadium, Absa Stadium, Kings Park Pool, Athletics Stadium, Durban ICC, Exhibition Centre, Durban Country Club, Greyville Racecourse, Wilson’s Wharf, and Westville Pavilion. The N2 is a mere 5 minutes away, leading to King Shaka Airport, KZN North & South Coast.   

We are registered with Durban West Community Tourism Organisation, KZN Economic Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs, Ethekwini Municipality and have been awarded a Covid-19 Quality Assurance Certificate from Durban Tourism.
